Several Schools, Colleges and Charitable Trusts celebrated Mother Teresa's Birthday grandly yesterday every where in Kakinada. Mandal Parishad Primary School in Jaganaickpur Kovvur road grandly organised Mother Teresa's birthday. They distributed sweets and books to children. Zonal Chairman Degala Ramesh, Lions Club President Mr. K. K. Mehta, Phani, Babu Rao, Sharma, Gangadharam, Prasad, Satya Kumar and several others participated in this program. Aditya Womens Degree College has also celebrated Mother Teresa's birthday very grandly. Principal K .Karuna said that NSS Organiser, students and herself visited Sravana Old Age Home and presented sacred sayings of Bramarshi Pedhada BalaRamaSarma in the form of songs and slokas in front of them. Later students entertained them with their cultural programs. At the end of the program they distributed fruits to this oldage home people, she added. NSS Co-Ordinator U. Srinivasa Rao, Lakshmi and organisers Harshitha, Divya, Lavanya, Kavya, Pavani, Madhavi and several others participated in this program. Youth Leader Mr. Narakurti Naga Babu said that Mother Teresa has been a role model to everyone in Social Service. He participated in the birthday celebrations of Mother organised by Arundhateya Yuva Sena Friends Circle at Gantavari Street in Recherlapeta. On this occasion they distributed clothes to poor on the hands of Dorla Suseela and Appa Rao couple and also provided free meals to everyone. Tathapudi Veeranna, Vangalapudi Nooka Raju and Arundhatheya Venkateswara Temple committee members participated in this program.
