District Collector Mrs. Neetu Kumari Prasad has noticed the officials to sanction Rs.1000 Crores Loans to the Women Self Help Groups (SHG) for this year in the district. Yesterday, she has conducted a review meeting with DWMA & DRDA officials at Collectorate in Kakinada on this. She noticed that this year the loans should be sanctioned to the SHG's as early as possible in the district. She stated 'we should play a key role in the financial development of women in the district, by providing these loans'. She asked them to check whether the loans are sanctioned by the banks in time or not. She also reviewed about the social pensions scheme and DWMA projects in the meeting. Joint Collector Mr. Mutyala Raju, DRDA PD Mr. Chandrashekar Raju, DWMA PD Mr. Madhusudhan and other respective officials attended the meeting.
