Orders were passed to release notificattion to appoint ration shop dealers, one month ago. Till now revenue department has not taken any steps to release this notification. People allegated on revenue staff publicly that they are neglecting as they are receiving bribes. Public is facing many problems due to lacking dealers in the district even when the most prominent Biometric sysytem is adopted in distributing the items. Many are vacant ration shops which require dealers. But department staff are recruiting dealers on temporary basis by receiving bribes instead of releasing a notification. They are not taking any steps to resolve this issue even when public representatives of Food Advisory committee raised this matter in a conference held month ago.
