Bakineni Dhanalakshmi of Viravada in Pithapuram Mandal related with abduction of baby boy from the Government General Hospital, Kakinada on May 10 was arrested by East Godavari District police. Announcing the details on Tuesday at the district police office, SP, Mr Ghatamaneni Srinivas, said that accused lifted the baby boy from post-natal ward of the hospital on May 10 and hired an auto rickshaw to Pithapuram. He said that the investigations revealed that the accused lost her own child soon after delivery and there was no male child in the family. CC Cameras in hospital helped the police in identifying the kidnapper. Total 20 police teams were part of this investigation find the culprit who was booked under IPC 363 he added. SP complimented Kakinada circle police headed by CI, Mr Ch.Ravikanth, the constables, Messrs K.Nooka Raju, K.Manohar and A.Radha Krishna and announced reward of Rs. 20, 000 to the police team.
