The JNTU-K Physical Directors 6th general body meeting has been started here on Tuesday, at senat hall in the university premises. According to this, the Vice Chancellor Dr. Tulasi Ram Das has presided over the program as a chief guest. The University Academic Planning Director Mr. K.Uday Bhaskar has supervised this meet. Speaking on this, Dr. Tulasi Ram Das has stated that the physical directors should be honest in work majorly while selecting the players for games & sports. He announced that the South Indian Inter Universities Table Tennis competitions (girls & boys) would be held from 27th to 31st of this month at JNTU-K premises. Basketball boys competitions will be conducted from 20th to 24th of January 2014 that he added. JNTU-K and all its affiliated colleges students can participate in these competitions, he said. Later, he explained the role of Physical Director for the university.
