The Samaikya Rashtra Parirakshana Vedika in association with the AP NGO's Association has called for one day Bandh, opposing the AP state bifurcation. They have decided to go for bandh as the Union Cabinet has confirmed the separate Telangana state with 10 districts based on the report from the Group of Ministers. Sources said, the GoM has discussed and finalised the decision of Telangana state at Prime Minister Mr. Manmohan Singh's house on Yesterday. It will be finalised once it is approved by the President and later the bill will be passed into the assembly. Listening to this, the supporters of Samaikyandhra were became angry and decided to go on bandh against the bifurcation. Speaking on this, the Rashtra Parirakshana Vedika District Chairman Mr. Buriga Ashirvadam and Secretary Mr. Pithani Trinadh were stated that 'this is not the end, we will continue our protest very severely, we will not back until we get the justice'. This one-day bandh is likely to force public transport out of streets and shut-down schools, colleges, central & state government offices and other commercial establishments in the district. On otherside, the additional police forces were launched into the district for maintenance of public order.
