Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada (JNTU-K) has grandly celebrated the International Day-2014, here on Wednesday in the University premises. Students from Nepal, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Bhutan & Nigeria countries were performed the musical & dance concerts in these celebrations. JNTU-K Vice Chancellor (VC) Dr. Tulasi Ram Das has presided over the program as a chief guest. Speaking on this, he stated 'India is a land for unity in diversity'. These type of programs gives more encouragement to our cultural activities, he added. Addressing the students, he has given the new year speech in this program. Later, he has presented awards to the winners of various activities in this program. Rector Dr. Prabhakar Rao, Registrar Dr. Prasad Raju, Foreign University Director Dr. Ramalinga Raju, Principal Dr. Padma Raju and huge number of students from JNTU-K, Aditya, GITE, BVC Engineering colleges were attended.
