The State Election Commission has issued the orders to conduct elections for four Sarpanch & some Ward members positions, which are suddenly arised in the district. According to this, the District Panchayati Officer Mr. Sridhar Reddy had released a press note, here on Wednesday. He said, these sarpanch & ward members elections are conducting for P.Dontamuru (Rangampeta), Nagulapalli (U.Kothapalli), Gudiwada (Peddapuram) & Nagaram (Konaseema) mandals in the district. Nominations are to be accepted from 3rd to 6th of January and Polling will be conducted on 18th January, he stated. The polling will be conducted from Morning 7am to Afternoon 1pm on the day. Later, the votes counting process will be started from Afternoon 2pm on-wards, that he noticed.
