The one-day AP State Bandh, which was called by the Rashtra Parirakshana Vedika in support to the Samaikyandhra movement was total & peaceful in the district here on Friday. All the political parties and other organisations from the district supported this strike. Banks, government & private offices, shops, commercial establishments, educational institutions and others organisations were remain closed, here on Friday. Responding to this, the supporting political parties were described the bandh as success, against the irrational way in which the division process is taking place, they were stated that it is committed for the cause of a united state and will press for a resolution in the Assembly.
