District Collector Mrs. Neetu Kumari Prasad has called the public to encourage the handicrafts & handlooms artisans in the district. Yesterday, she has inaugurated the Handicrafts expo, which was arranged by the State Handicrafts & Handlooms corporation at Sri Pydah Chalamayya Srinivas Kalyana Mandapam in Kakinada. Speaking on this, she has remembered that the state & central governments were introducing many new schemes for the sake of handicrafts & handlooms artisans in the state. Later, the Corporation Regional Deputy Director Mr. V.Kamaleswara Rao has announced that this exhibition will be available upto 12 of this month. All type of handicrafts & handlooms garments and many other products were exhibited in this expo, he added.
