The Joint Collector Mr. R.Muthyala Raju has directed the officials to intensify land acquisition process for Kakinada - Rajahmundry canal road extension works by discussing with the land losers. Yesterday, he has conducted a review meet on Kakinada-Rajahmundry canal road extension works with all the respective officials here at his chamber. Speaking on this, he has instructed them to acquire government land from the encroachers before the month of December. He directed them to identify the encroachments from 22kms to 27kms on drains and prepare a list. He also said enumeration of coconut trees and others at canal bunds and fix the compensation for it. He noticed that the meetings should be convened with persons concerned for evacuating temples beside roads and canals and the report should be submitted to RDO's. The micro plan along with the cost of land also should be prepared & submitted, he added.
