Due to the incessant heavy rainfall form past 5-days, there was a huge crop loss in the district. Speaking on this, the District Collector Mrs. Neetu Kumari Prasad has announced that around 67,216 Hectares Crop loss was occurred in the district. 971 Houses and around 660 km R&B roads were damaged due to these heavy rains. A total 46,93,200 loss occurred to the district due to these heavy rains, she added. She said there was a loss of Rs.20 lakhs because of the damaged canals in the district. As many as, 22,603 flood victims were sent to 42 rehabilitation centers in the district, she noticed. We are providing Food & Drinking water to all those victims, she added.
