Government teachers likely to loose jobs

Hyderabad, May 8th: Nearly 5,000 government teachers who were recently promoted are in danger of loosing their jobs on the allegations of submitting fake certificates to claim promotions. A total of 30,000 teachers were promoted recently out of which 5,000 of them are facing allegations. With three years gap the promotions started recently in the month of January which has evoked tremendous response from the teachers. Teachers competed with each other to claim promotion.

 

On receiving complaints from the genuine teachers about the submission of fake certificates by few of the teachers, the department of school education has directed the education officers to investigate on the matter. With this the department directed 5,000 teachers to submit their certificates at the directorate in Hyderabad by May 5. Only 500 have submitted their certificates. According to the director of school education, Mr. P.B Bhanu Murthy a committee comprising of senior officers will be verifying the certificates of deemed varsities.
