District Congress Committee meet was held yesterday in Suryakala Mandiram, Kakinada. DCC president Mr. Dhomeeti Venkateswarulu organised this meeting. Home Minister and District Incharge Minister Mrs. Sabita Indra Reddy attended as a Chief Guest. On this occasion she said that everyone of us should strive hard with an objective to make Rahul Gandhi as Prime Minister by the year 2014. The decision of East Godavari district people will be implemented state wide, she added. She invited every active worker of the party to get prepared for local elections. Members will be given positions in the local elections, she added. Defence Minister Mr. Pallam Raju said that everyone of us should work with the spirit of success gained at Ramachandrapuram. Welfare programs should be popularised in people that are adopted by the Government, he added. Minister Viswa Roop said that suitable positions will be given to all the members of the party. Our Chief Minister Mr. Kiran Kumar Reddy has supported many schemes than in the year 2004, said Minister Mr. Thota Narasimham. MP Undavalli Arun Kumar and MLC Kandula Durgesh also precided the meeting. Several people joined the party in the presence of Mrs. Sabita Indra Reddy. MP Ratna Babu, MLC Indira, Chaitanya Raju, Rudra Raju, Padma Raju, Siva Kumari and several other officials participated in this meeting.
