DRC Meet was held yesterday at Collectorate and was precided by Home Minister and District Incharge Minister Sabita Indra Reddy. This meet was filled with curiosity and was continued for a long time. Defence Minister Pallam Raju, District Ministers P. Viswa Roop, Thota Venkata Narasimham, MP Harsha Kumar, Undavalli Arun Kumar, MLC's and MLA's participated in this meet along with Sabita Indra Reddy and Collector Neetu Kumari Prasad. Officers of Agriculture, Rajiv Vidhya Mission (SSA), Water Supplies, Power Supplies, Civil Supplies, DRDA, DMHO and other departments also participated in this meet. Home Minister responded spontaneously to some of the probems raised by these department people and immediately alarmed Collector Mrs. Neetu Kumari Prasad on required actions that are to be taken to resolve them. MLA Pendurti Venkatesh questioned why they have not conducted any meet since 16 months and left all the problems in the air and demanded Home Minister to apologise. In response Minister Thota Narasimham cleared that Home Minister need not apologise to anyone. There was never a hurdle for development works inspite of DRC meet and Vigilence and Monitoring Committee meets were held in between and many problems were resolved through this, he added. From now onwards DRC meet  will be conducted once in three months for sure without fail, said Sabita Indra Reddy. 

MP Harsha Kumar raised several topics and showed displeasure against the work of the officers. He passed allegations on Social Welfare department ED Mr. Mahipal that he is receiving heavy bribes even in Apartment constructions. MLC Chinna Rajappa requested to provide machines at a low price that are useful to farmers. Tuni MLA Asok Babu said that many unlawful things happened in concessional investment schemes and farmers have not received compensation even after all enquires. Kakinada MLA kanna Babu said that unlawful things are happening even in selection of Ideal farmers by including even auto drivers in this list. MLA Vanga Geeta and Pantam Gandhi Mohan requested to work and to stop frequent power cuts. 

MP Undavalli Arun Kumar asked to provide loans so that both Farmers and Land Owners get benefited. Allegations were passed that officers are involved in rice coupon scam to fishermen in Kakinada. Irregularities are still occuring in pension distribution, even when biometric system is implemented. Thus several problems were raised to bring into the notice of our District Incharge Minister. They all together requested to supply gas to other states only after meeting the needs of our state. Thus they all together discussed and worked on several problems.
