A 34-years old man has been sentenced to prison for five years by Kakinada 1st Additional Sub Judge Mr. R. V. N. Sundar, here on Monday. The court upheld his conviction for a rape case. According to sources, on 8th October 2011, Patnala Kanna Rao (34), who belongs to Kakinada Suryanarayanapuram has accused rape on 8 years girl, who lives in the same area. Listening to the issue, the girl's parents complained to 3 Town Police station on this. CI Mr. Deva Kumar has registered case on Kanna Rao and investigated. Prosecution was done by APP Mr. J. S. V. Prasad Rao. Constable Mr. Mallikarjuna Rao has taken the witnesses to the court.
