The Cabinet Minister for Human Resources Development, Mr. M.M.Pallam Raju has announced that the central government has given approval for Maternal Child Health Centers in the district. According to this, he had released a press note here on Friday. He stated that funds of Rs.20 crores were sanctioned to these health centers in the district. He appreciated the Cabinet Health Minister Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad, who worked on the sanction of this project. He said, Rs.5 crores will be released to the first phase of this project, for 2012-13year. He was going to ask Kakinada Rural MLA Mr. Kurasala Kannababu and other respective MLA's to arrange these centers in the district. He also appreciated District Collector Neetu Kumari Prasad, GGH Superintendent Dr. Venkata Budha, who submitted all the reports correctly about the project in time.
