Army Recruitment Rally has commenced here on Monday at District Sports Authority Grounds, Kakinada. More than 8000 candidates from Srikakulam, Vijayanagaram, Vishakapatnam, East Godavari, West Godavari, Krishna and Yanam Districts attended this recruitment drive on the 1st day. Recruitment for the post of Soldier Technical and Soldier Nursing Assistant was conducted. The officers have estimated nearly 3000 candidates from Srikakulam have attended the rally. Army Recruitment Director Colonel Mr. VJ Singh and SETRAJ CEO Mr. K.Satyanarayana verified certificates, candidate’s applications and measurements of height. Mr. Satyanarayana said that nearly 3000 candidates who passed in the tests would attend afterward tests. Running competitions and rally would be conducted on Tuesday for the selected candidates he added. Selections for 10th class students in army for the post of Soldier General Duty, Tradesmen, Chef, House Keeper, Dresser, Mess Keeper, Tailor, Painter, Barbour, Watermen and other categories would be conducted on Wednesday. This recruitment would be conducted until 28th of this month.
