The District Industries Centre has invited applications from young entrepreneurs who want to start small-scale units with assistance under the Prime Minister's Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP). According to this, the authorities had released a press note here on Monday. They said, the unemployed youth from villages and towns with an age of above 18 ears are eligible to apply. Loans will be provided to the selected people under the scheme from Nationalised banks with 15% to 35% subscidy along with Margin money. Applications are available at District Industries Centre (DIC) at Ramanayyapeta in Kakinada. Applications are to be submitted before 31st of this month, they added. The District Administration has urged entrepreneurs to avail themselves for this scheme.
