Yesterday Collectorate was filled with roaring noise from all the sides with the strike conducted by Few Womens, VRO's and Washerman class people separately. After completing the agitation they submitted a request letter to Collector Neetu Kumari Prasad. Some women from Annavaram village conducted strike demanding to provide them with houses and their occupancy rights. 5.62 acres of Government land in Aarempudi with survey number 149 is being sold and purchased illegally, they added. In the same way Washerman class people conducted strike demanding to solve their problems like to release the fund of Rs.57 crores allocated to them in 2012-13 budget and sanction loan of Rs.3 Lakhs to each society people, and requested Municipality and Panchayat Raj to pass resolution for sanction of lands to them. State Washerman chairman Mr. Konduru Satyanarayana, state chairman Koneti Raju and others participated in this. And on the other side Andhra Pradesh Village Revenue Assistants Association conducted strike by demanding to carryout all the promises given in written. VRA's from all corners of the district participated in this agitation.
