District Sportsmen proved their talent in State Level Masters Athletics Competitions that were conducted at Hyderabad from 13th to 15th of this month. Nearly 20 Sportsmen from district participated in this competitions. They attained 9 Gold, 7 Silver and 6 Bronze medals in this competitions. Sportsmen of 35-75 years of age participated in this competition. Sportsmen who attained 1st and 2nd places would be participating in National Masters Athletics Championship Competitions which will be conducted at Chandigarh from 24th to 27th of February-2011. Masters Athletics Association Secretary, Medisetty Bapiraju said this to news line in a statement here on Wednesday.
