Principal Secretary of the State government (Finance Department), Mr. G. Sudheer on Thursday visited the District Treasury Office. On his visit, he observed the payment of various bills in the online mode. Interacting with the Deputy Director of the treasuries, Mr. K. Paleswara Rao, he asked about the functioning of the online system and payment of salaries of employees and pensions. Deputy Director of the treasuries, Mr. K. Paleswara Rao, requested to Principal Secretary to remodel the 125 years old District Treasury Office. Responding to this, Mr. G. Sudheer said that it would take some time for the Government to respond on the proposal he added. Later, District Collector, Mr. M. Ravi Chandra said a proposal to construct a complex for Government offices on the premises of the Collectorate was already pending with the Government. After completion of that complex, this proposal would also be considered he added. R.D.O Mr. G.C. Kishore Kumar, staff and others participated.
