Officers has undertaken alternate actions to over come the problems that are being faced due to the limit imposed on working hours of the Petroleum Bunks in the district. Joint Collector Mr. A. Babu organised a meet to higher officials of Oil Companies and Dealers, yesterday in Collectorate. In this conference they decided that ceaseless supply of oil should be made for most urgent and emergency services. Thus they decided to organise 24 Hours supply in bunks. Petroleum bunks of BPC near Balaji Cheruvu and Ishwarya Grand in Bhanugudi Junction will provide 24 hrs service, he added. He also said that bunks of IOCL at Rajanagaram, Samalkot, Yeleswaram, Mandapeta, Gollaprolu, Bendapudi and Rajahmundry along with HPCL bunks at Ravulaplem and Jonnada will also provide 24 hours service. DEO Mr. Ravi Kiran and Oil companies representatives participated in this meet.
