The District Collector Mrs. Neetu Kumari Prasad has inaugurated the state level Aahwana Drama competitions here on Monday at Surya Kalamandir in Kakinada. These competitions were organised by Pantham Padmanabha Memorial Cultural Charitable Trust. The program was held under the supervision of Young Men's Happy Club President Mr. Dantu Surya Rao. Firstly, the Collector offered garlands to the statue of Pantham Padmanabham on this occasion. Later, she has inaugurated the competitions. Speaking on this, she has stated that she will try to give more importance for the development of arts in the district. Various drama and cultural programs were performed by the participants on the first day of these competitions. State Handicrafts Development Corporation Chairman Mr. Pantham Nanaji, Charitable Trust Vice President Mrs. Lakkaraju Seshukumari, Secretary Mr. Burra Padmanabham and others participated in the program.
