The Commissioner of Intermediate Education, Hyderabad and Board of Apprenticeship Training (BOAT), Chennai were jointly conducted the 'Apprenticeship Mela' here on Friday at PR Government Vocational Junior College in Kakinada. This mela is being conducted for the students, who qualified for Intermediate Vocational groups. According to this, the District Vocational Education Officer Mr. J.Immanuel has presided over the program and started the mela. Kakinada Government General Hospital Superintendent Dr. Venkata Budha has also presided the program as a chief guest. Speaking on this, Dr. Venkata Budha has called the students to utilise this mela. Later, Mr. Immanuel stated that the Vocational education is very helpful to the students to get good placements in future. The mela has been conducted for Non-Paramedical courses in the Morning, and for Paramedical courses in the Afternoon. Around 1500 students attended for this mela, out of which 800 students were selected. BOAT Officer Mr. V.S.Pandey, Principal Mr. V.Somashekar, Mr. I.Srinivas and others participated in the program.
