The Kakinada Co-operative Town Bank Limited has registered a net profit of Rs.1.63 Cr. It secured ‘A' grade in the audit for the financial year 2009-10. Addressing a press conference here on Friday, the President of the bank Mr. Chittoori Ravindra said that all the 11 branches of the bank have been computerized and plans were happening to open ATM centers soon. Referring to the expansion of the bank, he said that a new branch would be opened in Rajahmundry very soon. Mr. Ravindra said that the bank was focusing more on issuing loans and recovering them in time. Besides registering a growth of 12.04 per cent in deposits, 17.8 per cent in loans and 11.9 per cent in working capital, the back has achieved zero percent of net non-performing assets. The rate of interest on deposits here is higher than that of any other bank he added. Directors Mr. M.V.V. Satyanarayana Rao, M. Balasundara Rao, Tota Sudheer, Madani Hussain Mohiddeen Khan, P. Srinivasa Tagore and B.S. Seshagiri Rao, Managing Director Mr. Polina Venkateswara Rao were present.
