Jawaharlal Nehru and Technological University-Kakinada (JNTU-K) Controller of Examination, Dr. K.Satya Prasad has been honoured with ‘Shiksha Ratan Puraskar’ instituted by India International Friendship Society (IIFS). This award will be presented regularly every year to the scholars for out standing services provided in college. The prestigious awards have been presented to them last month at New Delhi, but Prof.Satya Prasad could not attend the function as he was participating in 7 days University Celebrations. Hence, the Society had sent the award to JNTU-K through courier. Vice Chancellor of JNTU-K, Prof. Allam Apparao presented this award to Prof.Satya Prasad this Sunday. Mr. Satya Prasad also received Best Teacher award in the year 2009. He held different positions in his career like Head of the Department, Vice Principal and Principal for JNTU Engineering College.
