The 150th Birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, was celebrated here on Saturday at Raja Tank premises in Kakinada. According to this, HRD Minister Mr. M.M.Pallam Raju has presided over the program. Firstly, he offered garlands to the statue of Vivekananda at the park premises and paid rich tributes to him. The program was organized by Ramakrishna Seva Samithi. The day was also observed as National Youth Day, which has declared by the Indian Government. Speaking on this, Mr. Pallam Raju has stated that every individual should follow the speeches of Vivekananda to lead a happy life. He said that, Vivekananda is an youth icon, who inspired youth by his speeches, he gave a right path to the youth, he added. MLA's Mr. Chandra Shekar Reddy, Mrs. Vanga Geeta, Municipal Corporation Commissioner Mr. Ravi Kumar, RDO Mr. Jawaharlal Nehru, Mr. V.Rama Subbarao, Mr. Rajashekar Reddy, Mr. Somu Durga Prasad, Mr. Ch.Surya Narayana and others participated in the program.
