Sri M.M.Pallam Raju, the Cabinet Minister of India for Human Resources Development has Re-inaugurated the Vijjapureddy Municipal Corporation Hindu Burial Ground, Kakinada here on Friday at around 9.30am. According to the sources, the burial ground was renovated by the Rotary Club International, Kakinada with the help of donars and the Government. It was remodelled with all the necessary amenities. It appears like a park, sources said. Minister had inaugurated newly constructed Bathrooms, Locker rooms and Gas cremation chamber in the ground. Speaking on this, he appreciated the Rotary club members for making this project successful. He asked them to undertake other burial grounds in the city to renovate them. He assured that he will try to get the funds from the government for resources development in the city. City MLA Mr. Chandra Shekar Reddy, Rotary District Governor Mr. Surya Rao, Mr. C.V.Raju, Mr. Mallampalli Amareswara Rao, Dr. Pusha, Mr. Anjaneyamurthy, Mr. C.N.Rao, Mr. L.Satyanarayana (Tikku), Mr. Dommeti Venkateswarulu, RDO Mr. Jawaharlal Nehru, Commissioner Mr. Ravi Kumar and others participated in the program.
