District Vigilance and Monitoring Committee meeting was held here on Saturday under the observation of Cabinet Human Resources Minister Mr. M.M.Pallam Raju at Collectorate Vidhan Gowtami hall in Kakinada. Speaking on this, the Minister said that the officials and MLA's should continue the 100% achievement in implementation of Right to Education Act, though the deadline of Supreme court to be expired. He asked them to make arrangements for every child to go to school. He exhorted them that inspite of the expiring of the deadline, they should make serious efforts to complete remaining achievement as quickly as possible. He said that the education system in the country right from the primary level to high school and polytechnic level would be strengthened by taking various methods like setting up model schools, Kasturiba schools and others. The MLA's who participated in the meeting urged Mr. Pallamraju to show special interest on East Godavari district by creating all infrastructure facilities and other technical developments in all schools. The MLA's expressed disatisfaction over the functioning of Rural Water supply scheme. MLA's urged District Officials in the implementation of various projects in the district. Drinking Water facility must be provided in every government school in the district, they stressed. Some of the MLA's, MLC's and MP's were absent to this meeting.
