State Government Civil Supplies department has announced Ugadi festival gift to white ration card holders in the state. According to the sources, the State Civil Supplies Minister Mr. D. Sridhar Babu has conducted a web conference with the respective district officials here on Tuesday. Speaking on this, he announced that, a total 9 general ration products will be given for just Rs. 185/- in one bag for White Ration card holders in the state from Ugadi festival onwards. These nine products are excluding rice, he noticed. He said that the government is providing all these nine general goods for Rs. 185/- which are worthable of Rs.292/- in the market. This scheme will be inaugurated by the State Chief Minister Mr. N. Kiran Kumar Reddy on occasion of Ugadi festival, he stated. Meanwhile, it should be inaugurated by the District Incharge Minister in the district and other Ministers in the district, he noticed. This scheme should also be started in all mandals from 16th to 24th of April in the district, he added. He has ordered the officials to implement the scheme strictly in the district. All the nine products should be fresh and good, he noticed. District Joint Collector Mr. Ahmed Babu, Sub Collector Mr. Gandham Chandrudu, DRO Mr. Yadagiri, DSO Mr. Ravi Kiran, DM Mr. Kumar, RDO Mr. Jawaharlal Nehru, Mr. Venugopal Reddy, Mr. Sampath Kumar, Mr. Vara Prasad and other officials participated in web conference from the collectorate in Kakinada.
