Theft occured in Valasapakala Lakshmi Ganapathi Sita Ramalayam in the midnight on Wednesday. On Thursday they observed that, sutras of godess Sita, silver idols of Sai Baba, Silver Plates, Coins and many other things were stolen. Temple priest who opened the temple in the morning, informed people in temple surroundings and committee members of the temple regarding the robbery which took place in the temple. After observing the situation in the temple, committee heads informed the police. Sarpavaram SI Bala Souri and Suresh Babu collected information from temple priest. They observed that safety locks are not used even though they are available in the temple and filed a case.
