In the SC ST Vigilence meeting conducted on Thursday in Collectrate precided by Collector Mrs. Neetu Prasad schedule people complained that police are not following Utracity law proposed to Schedule castes. Schedule caste leaders said it would not be useful in conducting meeting without SP. Police failed to protect Utracity Law, he added. Sector 4 is not being implemented in Utracity, he added. Police officials must attend the meeting, he demanded. Next meeting will boycoted if police officials does not attend the meeting, he added. Revenue department identified 85,000 acers of celieng lands but only 15,000 acers was distributed, he added. If Revenue department can work hard, remaining 70 acers of land also be allocated, he added. Collector said, for many schemes provided to SC and ST, beneficials are not available. 300 Mini Dairy units were left ideal which were allocated to them, she added. Leaders should gain knowledge in this sector, she added. SC & ST students were not benefited in Protsaham Pathakam, said leaders. DRDA PD Madhukar Babu spoke to them regarding this, but were not satisfied. Collector said every thing was done as per rules and promised to refer it once again to favour them.
