District Additional Joint Collector, Mr. B. Ramarao has stated that, food & water need to be supplied sufficiently to the flood victims of Neelam Cyclone affected areas in the district. He had conducted a set conference with the respective Tahsildars and Special officers along with DRO Mr. Yadagiri here on Wednesday from Collectorate in Kakinada. Speaking on this, he ordered officials to provide all necessary facilities to the flood victims in the district with out providing any inconvenience to them. He directed them to arrange rehabilitation centers in major flood affected areas. He ordered Medical & Health department officials to arrange health camps at major flood affected areas in the district. He also ordered them to give a proper report on flood affected areas and the victims. He stated that Government had released sufficient funds to help flood victims, so the reports should be appropriate to analyse perfect loss. The report on animals which are affected by the cyclone is to be submitted seperately, he added. He stressed that the report of flood victims who belongs to fisherman, handloom workers, SC & ST categories should also be analysed appropriately. Tahsildars and Mandal Development Officers have to be alert to get these reports appropriately, he added.
