A 22 year old woman jumped into the salt creek from Jagannaickpur Bridge and went missing here on Monday. According to the police, Namala Bhuvaneswari Ramalakshmi of Kajuluru married Sivaramakrishna of Pithapuram three months ago. After the marriage, Sivaramakrishna wore ‘Ayyappa Mala' and went to Sabarimala. After returning from the pilgrimage, he went to his in-laws house on motorcycle on Monday morning and was on his way to Pithapuram along with his wife. When the motorcycle reached the bridge, Ramalakshmi asked her husband to stop the motorcycle. All of a sudden, she got down from the motorcycle and swung into the salt creek. A case was registered.
