Sri Bobbili Chella Rao Memorial AP Inter States Senior & Youth Athletics Championship-2013, will be conducted on 13th & 14th of this month at sports grounds in Kakinada. According to this, the Rural MLA Mr. Kurasala Kannababu has conducted a press meet, here on Wednesday from his house along with Mr. Pantham Nanaji and District Athletics Association Secretary Mr. Chandrakanth. Speaking on this, Mr. Kannababu has stated that these competitions will be organized by District Athletics Association under AP Athletics Association. Around 700 members from various places in the state will attend this meet, he added. Mr. Pantham Nanaji has stated that the state meet is being conducting from last five years in the city. Mr. Chandrakanth has stated this year, the meet is being conducting in the remembrance of Mr. Chella Rao, who spend his whole life for the development of sports in the district. District Minister Mr. Thota Narasimham as the chairman, has formed a committee to organize this meet, added by Mr. Kannababu.
