Kakinada, Mar 13th: The two day sports meet organized by Little Wood Public School was concluded on Friday. As a part of anniversary celebrations the school management has arranged sports meet for the school students on Thursday. Officer of Central Board of School education, M.V.V Prasad attended as the chief guest for the program. Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Prasad advised the managements of various schools to give training to the students in both cultural activities and sports besides normal education so as to make them both physically and mentally fit.
He stressed the role of sports in driving the country towards fame and success. He asked the parents and the teachers to give training to the students in their interested fields for better results. Later students participated in various cultural programs organized by the school management. Competitions on karate, long jump, shot-put, running and many were held. Prizes were distributed to the winners under different categories. School correspondent Nageswara Rao, G. Radha Krishna, students and parents participated in the celebrations.
