All India Council of Technical Education has given permission to JNTU-K to conduct the South Zone Basketball (Boys) and Table Tennis (Boys & Girls) Sports Competitions in the university premises for this year. According to this, the University Physical Education Director Mr. G.Syam Kumar had released a press note here on Thursday. He said the council has given permission as the university conducted these competitions successfully in the previous year. A total 40 teams from various Universities are allowed to participate in these competitions, he noticed. The teams selections would be held soon, after discussing with the University Vice Chancellor, he added.
