Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL), Kakinada donated Rs.1 Crore to the district authorities under Dhirubhai Ambani Encouragement Scheme. According to the sources, District Collector Mrs. Neethu Kumari Prasad had received the cheque of Rs.1 Crore from the Reliance company representatives on behalf of their company here on Wednesday at Collector camp office in Kakinada. This fund has been donated with the motto to provide corporate education for talented poor students in the district. Speaking on this, Mrs. Neethu Kumari Prasad has appreciated the company for their service to the public. Reliance representatives Mr. Venkata Siva Raman, Mr. Nagi Reddy, Mr. V. V. D. Prasad, Mr. Subrahmanyam and others participated in this program.
