District Collector Mrs. Neethu Kumari Prasad has called to make the first phase of Pulse Polio to be success in the district, on 20th of this Month. According to this, she has conducted a review meet with district health & medical officials here on Wednesday at Collectorate Court hall in Kakinada. She ordered the officials to conduct the pulse polio program on 20th of January and 24th of February successfully in this district. She asked them to make arrangements for pulse polio booths at Government schools in the district on 18th of this month. She said that the state Government had released Rs.48 Lakhs for this program. She stated that the control room will be arranged at District Medical & Health Office (DM&HO) for this program. People may contact 0884-2351770 (or) 9440126339 numbers for any assistant on that day from morning 10am to evening 6pm, she added. She noticed the officials that every children with below 5years age must be given the dose of pulse polio in the district on those days. She called upon the public to use this opportunity.
