Hyderabad, Dec 7th: Actor tuned politician, Praja Rajyam Party President Chiranjeevi appointed his brother Pavan Kalyan as the president of party’s youth wing Yuva Rajyam. Chiranjeevi declared this on Sunday at party meeting held at Hyderabad.
Speaking on the occasion Chiranjeevi said that Pavan is socially conscious and praised him as a good humanist. He added that Pavan Kalyan is popular with the public and so the people and the youth will accept him as the Yuva Rajyam president. He assured that Pavan is aware of the problems and needs of the poor so would certainly do well to them.
“I appointed Pavan not because he is my brother, but only after considering his social consciousness. Pavan is the man who always thinks of the poor and the needy. Pavan and Nagababu are among those persons who encouraged me to launch this party”, he added.
Pavan addressing the huge meeting held at Hyderabad said that he will strive for the party till his last breath. “I was not interested to contest in the elections and was not eager for any seat. I will work for the party and the people and not for any positions. Jayaprakash Narayana, Luthur King and Cheguveera are my role models”, he added.
