Open Source Course will be introduced in JNTU College of Engineering, Kakinada. Speaking on this, Vice Chancellor of JNTU-K, Prof. Allam Apparao said that JNTU University is the first university to introduce this course in our country. Board of Studies meeting was conducted at University meeting hall here on Saturday. Academic Director and Convener Dr.GVR Prasad Raju presided over this meeting. With the introduction of Open Source Course in 3rd year B.Tech, required software will be given free, he added. They also reviewed on five years integrated course, engineering second year syllabus and courses. They decided to display these details on the JNTU website from this Monday.
