Floodwater in the Godavari was moving back fast and the officials confirmed that there were no signs of further flood of low-lying areas here on Tuesday. The floodwater level was at 14.1 feet at Sir Arthur Cotton Barrage at Dowleswaram at 6pm on Tuesday and 13.67 lakh cusecs of floodwater was discharged into the sea. There is no threat of flood now they added. The second warning will be withdrawn by late this night and the first warning will be withdrawn by tomorrow afternoon in all prospects said Superintending Engineer of Head Water Works, Mr. V. Venugopal.
