The Samaikyandhra agitation getting hot day-by-day in Kakinada. Many sections of people are joining the protest. There is no change in Samaikyandhra protests in the city. The movement getting huge response from the public, all they want the united state 'Samaikyandhra'. Yesterday, the Samaikyandhra agitators from fishermen villages in the vicinity of Reliance Terminal at Gadimoga and Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation Limited (GSPC) at Tallarevu mandal in the district blocked the roads with thorny bushes to a length of six kilometers for not allowing the employees to their offices. The villagers staged rasta rokos on the way to Reliance Terminal and GSPC and did not allow the employees into their offices. Later, they staged protests infront of the oil corporation companies in the village. On otherside, the Non-Teaching staff of JNTU-K gave strike notice to the University Vice Chancellor, here on Monday, against to the decision of state bifurcation. They met VC Mr. G.Tulasi Ram Das and informed that they would go on strike from 5th of September in support to the Samaikyandhra protest. However, the VC called the staff to participate in 'Laksha Jana Sagara Gosha' at Kakinada, being organised by employees JAC. He said that the entire university would participate on this program. The students JAC of JNTU-K took out a rally in the city. Employees JAC, Doctors, Advocates, Teachers, Animal Husbandry employees, Revenue employees, Municipal employees and many others continued their protests, strikes & rallies in the city on Monday.
