'The consumers should provide their Aadhaar number and Bank account details to the gas agencies to complete their Aadhaar seeding process before 15th of August, 2013. If not, they will not get subsidy for cooking gas at any cost', stated by Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL) Executive Director Mr. Y.K.Gavali. Yesterday, he had visited the district and conducted a review meet with gas agencies dealers, oil companies representatives and bankers, along with the District Joint Collector Mr. Ahmed Babu. Speaking on this, he stated that the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) to LPG scheme will be provided from 1st of June to those consumers, who completed their Aadhaar seeding process. The consumers, who haven't completed the Aadhaar seeding should complete it by 15th of August to get subsidy, he noticed. If the consumers not submitted their Aadhaar & Bank account to the agencies before 15th August, then they will not eligible to get cooking gas subsidy, he stressed. Later, the Joint Collector has explained the execution of Aadhaar seeding project in the district to him. He said, around 3 Lakh consumers from the district are ready to get the subsidy. HPCL DGM Mr. Subrahmanyan, Chief Manager Mr. P.M.Kanth, Chief General Manager Mr. Chandrakanth, LDM Mr. Jagannadha Raju and others participated in the meeting.
