'Pithapuram Maharani Chinnamambhadevi' Ladies Recreation Club 10th Anniversary was grandly celebrated here on Saturday at the club premises in Kakinada. According to this, the Minister of State for Commerce and Industry, Smt. Daggubati Purandeswari has presided over the program as a cheif guest. Firstly, she had offered garlands to the statue of Maharani Chinnamambadevi at the club premises. She has inaugurated the souvenir of the club. She has presented the artificial organs to the physically handicapped people on behalf of the club in this occasion. Speaking on this, she has appreciated the club members for doing social service to the public through the club. She stated that 'women should enter in all the fields, showing the world that we can do anything'. Women should work with a good service motto, she stressed. Every women should have her own identity in this world, she added. Later, the club members felicitated the Minister on this occasion. Various cultural activities were taken place as part of this program. Club Honorable President Smt. Aaluri Vijaya Lakshmi, President Smt. Chakka Prabhavathi, Pithapuram Maharani Chinnamambadevi's Grand daughter Chinnamamba, Daughter-in-law Smt.
