Nellore, Nov 6th: Kin of the family staged dharna regarding women’s death at private hospital here on Thursday at Kodur in Kadapa district.
According to the information Krishna Veni, 40 was admitted in the private hospital and underwent heart surgery under Arogya Sri scheme. Doctors did not allow to see the patient for three days. On Thursday they declared that the patient was dead.
Women’s husband Sankaraiah blamed the hospital for her wife’s death and alleged that his wife was dead two days back and the hospital did not disclose this to encash the bills from the government under Arogya Sri.
Hospital management denied the allegation and said that the daughter of the women was a doctor in a corporate hospital at Hyderabad and has been checking the patient’s health condition daily. They added that patient’s husband was doing the allegation to overcome the pain of losing the wife.
