The East Godavari Unit of Kapu Sadbhavana Samiti has staged a protest here on demanding Government for the implementation of GO No.3, here on Wednesday as a part of its state program, infront of the Collectorate in Kakinada. The protestors sought reservations for the Kapu social sections in education, employment and other aspects. Ex Minister Mr. Satyanarayana Rao, Ex MLA Jyothula Nehru and District Kapu Sadbhavana Samiti Chief Mr. V. Y. Dasu participated in the protest. Speaking on this, they urged the Government to immediately implement the GO for the welfare of these sections. They grieved that the government is always neglecting the Kapu's sections. They demanded the State Government to give BC status for all Kapu sections. Mr. Dasu said that the GO has been kept in abeyance, depriving the community of due benefits. Later, the protestors went towards the Collectorate, but the police refused to allow the agitators. But the protestors did not turn back, they together went by shouting slogans against the police and finally, submitted their memorandum to Joint Collector Mr. A.  Babu. The JC inturn assured action. A huge number of Kapu sections leaders and members participated in the program.
