District Collector Mrs. Neetu Kumari Prasad has conducted a review meet with all the respective officials about the working process of Aadhaar seeding project in the District, here on Thursday at Collectorate court hall in Kakinada. The meeting was held in the presence of Institute for Development and Research in Banking Tech (IDRBT) team of Reserve Bank, here on their visit. Speaking on this, she stated that the gas agencies has completed 50% of seeding and the banks completed only 12.74% seeding process in the District. She said that the working process of linking the bank accounts to Aadhaar is very slow in the District. This may lead to the extension of cash benefit scheme implementation in the District, she expressed. She was angered on bankers and cooking agencies for neglecting the seeding project. She stated that the Government has extended the date upto 15th of this May for the completion of this seeding process in the District, this date will not be extended anymore, she noticed. Speaking on this, IDRBT team members Dr. Sambamurthy, Dr. Sriramachandra Murthy and Prof. Ananth called the bankers to complete the seeding process as early as possible in the district. Joint Collector Mr. A. Babu, Andhra Bank DGM Mr. Satyanarayana Murthy, MDM Mr. Jagannatha Raju, DSO Mr. RAvi Kiran, DM Mr. Kumar and other officials participated in the program.
