Kakinada Government General Hospital (GGH) Junior Doctors started strike on Monday, infront of the hospital, on demanding setting up of a special committee to look into the implementation of the mandatory rural service rule. They boycotted all, including emergency service and started the strike, here. The protest was started under the leadership of Junior Doctors RMC division President Mr. Kasi Viswanath and Secretary Mr. Nageswara Rao. Speaking on this, they are opposing GO No. 834, which is implemented for a rule that makes it mandatory for them to enter into a bond with the government to work in rural areas for one year. They were also demanded to stop the counselling program, which was conducting by NTR University of Health Sciences.
